Low Tide vs Projekt B Breakfast and North Van Ride

This past saturday the entire membership of the FrayBro Chapter of LOWTIDE met with projekt-B at their undisclosed breakfast spot at 8am. A foolish plan to ride to North Vancouver had been hatched, and foolishly uttering this plan meant others wanted to come and LOWTIDE actually had to ride instead of just sleep until noon.

Breakfast was fast and greasy. And Cheap.

The ride to North Van was ostensibly to get LOWTIDE's glorious leader's Kona Hoss tuned up. Really though, it was just an excuse to cross the Second Narrows bridge. It's a fsckin good thing we brought Lyle from PB with us, as special bike friendly routes are much better than the idiot half formed LOWTIDE plan of "just following the cars".

The longest bike ride ever in the history of LOWTIDE ended well, with swift adjustment (although other derailleur adjustments were needed) by the staff @ Cove bikes and piping hot espresso @ the North Van JJ Bean. NVMILFs were in full effect. Lululemon pants and tig ole bitties.

A new snare and some effin' sweet drumsticks were procured during the tune up layover. A mega sweet sesh spot was found. I saw two swimming pools I had never seen before ( templeton and brighton ) on the way there/over. Proper planning would have capped this ride with AYCE sushi, as LOWTIDE crew mostly excersises so we can stuff our faces totally full without getting even more fat.

All in all an epic ride, at least for LOWTIDE, who annoyingly enough cannot stop it with the caps lock or using "the royal we".
